There’s a wonderful subset of people in the world who are kind and fair because something in their gut tells them its the right thing to do. They take heroic risks at their own expense, operate with integrity, and genuinely see how the world can become better through kind, bold, generous collaboration.
I strongly suspect that if you’re reading this you’re one of those people.
However, I strongerly suspect that there’s an uncomfortably large subset of people who will do anything they can to maximize their own personal gain, regardless of its consequences to anyone and anything around them. At worst they operate out of ruthless selfishness, at best they simply succumb to existing incentive structures.
I want to find ways to convince this group, in their own language (self interest, profits, MORE RESOURCES!!!), that regardless of their internal processes, their final output should always be Kindness and Generousity anyway (if you can’t feel it just go through the motions you mad bastards!)
If you’re already kind as ideology - thank you, you’re amazing. You’re extremely invited to join me on this quest by sharing your thoughts, wisdom, and goodwill.
If you’re a self serving snake - feel free to do your best to disprove what I say out of spite. Let’s sharpen the thesis and work this out together!
