I tend to get along with people who score very high on the Mach scale, *while simultaneously* scoring very low on narcissism and psychopathy. They're the ones least likely to be hoodwinked, while also resisting the urge to use their cognitive empathy (as you define it) to hoodwink others.
Of course, it's very possible that their high Machiavellian makes them more likely to answer the test in a way that artificially suppresses the other two dark dimensions. And that they're plotting my demise right now.
